Welcome to North Hills

A fabulous place to live, learn and grow.

North Hills Community Center

Nestled in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania just north of Philadelphia is North Hills, a community rich in history,  surrounded by abundant trees and green space, built over the last century with traditional homes and occupied by homeowners and renters alike.  Children attend school in a top performing school district and families have access to neighborhood amenities and services. Generations of families have chosen to live and raise their children here.

North Hills Manor is an integral aspect of this neighborhood. The Manor (as it is known) is a long standing community of 50 apartments and townhomes located between Logan and Chelsea Avenues on Walnut Avenue.  It was built in the early 1950's by the Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) with funding from the federal government.

Why Change?

Realizing a Cooperative Vision.

Today, the Manor appears as a structure of brick townhomes that  seem to be physically and architecturally separated from the rest of the community. Over the decades, the buildings’ systems have become antiquated and the living space does not meet today’s standards.

Rebuilding the Manor in a way which is respectful of the surrounding neighborhood, is critical to enhancing North Hill’s community value. Help us realize this vision by participating in this planning effort and sharing with us your ideas, suggestions and comments.
