North Hills Manor is an integral aspect of this neighborhood. The Manor (as it is known) is a long standing community of 50 apartments and townhomes located
between Logan and Chelsea Avenues on Walnut Avenue. It was built in the early 1950's by the Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) with funding from the federal
Today, the Manor appears as a structure of brick townhomes that seem to be physically and architecturally separated from the rest of the community. Over the decades, the buildings’ systems have become antiquated and the living space does not meet today’s standards.
Rebuilding the Manor in a way which is respectful of the surrounding neighborhood, is critical to enhancing North Hill’s community value. Help us realize this vision by participating in this planning effort and sharing with us your ideas, suggestions and comments.
